Fair Housing Policy

Developed in 1968, the Federal Fair Housing Act protects renters and potential renters from "discrimination by direct providers of housing, such as landlords and real estate companies as well as other entities, such as municipalities, banks or other lending institutions and homeowners insurance companies whose discriminatory practices make housing unavailable to persons because of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, familial status or disability."

All listings available on HomeBidz.com are equal opportunity listings.

Owners & Management

All property owners and managers are prohibited by law, under the Fair Housing Act, from discriminating in the rental of any property based on race, color, religion, gender, national origin, familial status or disability. Managers and owners are prohibited from creating rental agreements that enforce discriminatory conditions, refuse otherwise available housing, or permit rentals to only persons of certain race, color, religion, gender, national origin, familial status or disability.

Rights of the Renter

You, as the renter, have the right to find reasonable accomodations and that those accomodations will be kept available to you regardless of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, familial status or disability.

You have the right to receive equal treatment of your credit application, without discrimination.
